In July 2023, COMMISSION DELEGATED REGULATION (EU) /... amending Delegated Regulation (EU) 2022/30 as regards the date of application of the essential requirements for radio equipment and correcting that Regulation, Confirmation of a transitional extension of 1 year, to adhere to the Delegated Act (2022/30). Requirements to become mandatory by 1 August 2025.
To accommodate the transition of the Delegated Act (2022/30), which aims to improve cybersecurity of wireless devices and supplement the RED (2014/53/EU) regulation, a transitional 1-year extension is introduced. Adhering to the new cybersecurity requirements becomes mandatory starting 1 August 2025.
