| Due to several queries regarding this band to approve radar devices, we’ve been working to ask ENACOM of the allocation of the 57-71 GHz spectrum portion for radars.After weeks of discussions, ENACOM noticed they are able to automatically implement a framework to get these products approved. Therefore, ENACOM simply issued the letter No-2023-134253001-APN-DNPYC in Spanish as attached, where they officially inform that radars are allowed in this band without local testing.Thus, we can approve them from now on using foreign reports that comply with local power limits established in this frequency, which are: EIRP of 40 dBm & Peak of 43 dBm. |
