The Direktorat Jenderal Sumber Daya dan Perangkat Pos dan Informatika (SDPPI) of Indonesia held a meeting on the Socialization of Administrative Sanctions on February 27, 2024.

SDPPI had tighten the enforcement for Certifications and Labeling requirement  for importers / distributors of devices. By  enforcing administrative sanctions ( especially the Fines and sanction )

This is because the new regulations ( with the new label requirements ) since 2018, there are too many producers /importers/ distributors who did not attach labels to the unit /  user manual and packaging .

SDPPI had carried out the market surveillance on this and notice the issue for this is quite big.

So now SDPPI Monitoring Center will monitor all devices and investigate the certificates/labels and compliance of the devices and also assigning the new administrative sanctions if there are any non-compliance found .
