The Eswatini Communications Commission (ESCCOM) has published Notice 10/2024: Guidelines on the Use of License Exempt Spectrum Bands in Eswatini, 2024.
The Guidelines aim to support emerging technologies such as IoT, AI, and Short-Range Devices (SRDs), and are applicable for all licensed spectrum users and devices which use license-exempt bands.
According to the Guidelines, all devices must be type approved by ESCCOM.
